What are full names of the legal owners of the property?
As per their passport, for example Mr John James Smith and Miss Jane Julie Doe.

What is the relationship between you and the other party/ies?

What was your original intention for the property?

Has an event occurred that changed the original intentions?

What is the property's current market price?
This is the estimated current market value as at today's date if you were selling it on the open market.

Is there a mortgage registered over the property?

What would you like to happen as a result?
Attach Documents
You can attach a scanned .PDF or a .JPEG.

    1
    Supporting evidence
Attach anything that supports your claim to owning a beneficial interest in the property such as a deed of trust or a written statement between you and the other party/ies. Here are just some of things to help:
  • Written evidence confirming what your original intention was for the property when you purchased or moved in
  • Bank statements showing your contributions toward the purchase deposit, mortgage repayments, repairs and renovations and household expenses.
  • Written agreements between you (email, letter, text, Whatsapp)
Be concise and organised ensuring all your evidence is labelled with a date and what it is. For example, a text on the 15th June 2022 should be saved down as "20220615 Text from James confirming my share of the mortgage repayments". Solicitors charge by the hour so it is best to handle the labelling admin yourself to keep the costs down.
