What happens now Ascot Lawyers are in administration?
It is understood that Ascot Lawyers is currently being administered by Julien Irving and John Titley, practitioners of Leonard Curtis Business Rescue and Recovery and will not being taking on any new legal work. The insolvency company will look to sell off the assets of the business to pay off its debts.

A brief history of Ascot Lawyers
Ascot Lawyers started in 2000 and then incorporated as a limited company, Ascot Lawyers Ltd, on the 2nd October 2012 with James Neil Somerville and Peter Charles Williams as the shareholders. Ascot Lawyers offered a wide range of legal services including personal injury, residential property (conveyancing), wills and probate and employment. In 2015 2 charges (loans) were registered against the company, one with Lloyds Bank Plc and the other with Novitas Loans Ltd. On the 12th April 2018 Peter Charles Williams terminated his directorship of Ascot Lawyers and in June 2018 the law firm entered administration.
What happens if Ascot Lawyers owes you money?
You must contact the SRA or the Intervention Agent instructed to handle the distribution of client funds. If you are you are unable to get your money from the Intervention Agent, then you should write to the SRA to confirm your identity and amount you expect to be returned - SRA Contact Centre, The Cube, 199 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RN or call 0370 606 2555.
If for some reason you you think Ascot Lawyers has not paid you money then you need to make a claim to the Solicitors' Compensation Fund. The Solicitors Compensation Fund is a discretionary fund and each claim is reviewed and assessed to see whether it is entitled to be paid from this fund.
