However, savings interest is payable on the linked account, even if at a comparatively low rate, and if the correct repayments are made, there's no other cost to the helper family member.


Hanwell is a town in London's Ealing Borough and is 1.5 miles west of Ealing. It is very residential with parades of shops here and there, particularly clustered around the Uxbridge Road/Hanwell Broadway. It has some excellent and varied pubs, such as the Fox which is just next to the Grand Union Canal, and some pleasant parks, such as Elthorne Park and Blondin Park. There is a sequence of six locks in a row regarding the canal's path through Hanwell, the only place where there are as many on the entire system!
