Set up payment reminders

Your credit score is highly sensitive to whether you make your credit card payments on time. Some lenders offer payment reminders through their online portals that can send you an email or text message reminding you when a payment is due.

You might also want to consider enrolling in automatic payments through your credit card and loan providers to have payments automatically debited from your bank account. Be aware however that only the minimum required payment on your credit cards might be made – in the longer term, you should always be careful to manage your finances well.
.

Current Account Mortgage

Current account mortgages are a version of offset mortgage where your current account and mortgage are converted to one account. The idea is that when you get paid, the credit reduces your mortgage sum, so mortgage repayments become cheaper, however the more of your pay you use, the more that the repayments rise to 'normal' levels.

The more your account is in credit, the more capital you'll pay off. You can't normally access discounted rates with this kind of mortgage.

Deptford is an area of south-east London on the south bank of the River Thames within the London Borough of Lewisham. It has a historical association with docks and shipbuilding and other possible – and famous – myths and legends, such as being the location where Sir Walter Raleigh lay down his cloak for the then Queen Elizabeth to walk over, saving her feet from getting wet and Christopher Marlowe, the famous playwright, was said to be murdered in a house along Deptford Strand.

Deptford's economy plummeted with the decline of the Port of London's shipping, however factories have been sited there and there are numerous artistic haunts and great green spaces.

Landmarks and attractions in the area include, among others, Deptford railway station, one of the oldest suburban stations in the world (completed 1838), St Nicholas' Church, the Albany Theatre, Deptford Cinema, Creekside, the Dog & Bell pub and the parks of Brookmill, Deptford, Ferranti and Sayes Court Park.
