What happens if the conveyancing falls through before the survey takes place will I get a full refund?

If you need to cancel the survey for any reason at all you need to ensure that you have given the surveyor 48 hours’ notice before the survey takes place.

If the surveyor has 48 or more hours’ notice then you will be provided with a full refund.

If however you only give the surveyor 24 hours’ notice then there will be a penalty of £50 due to the fact that the surveyor will not be able to fill that slot in time.

If you cancel on the same day as the Survey Date, or any time after the surveyor has attended the property then no refund is due however the report will be delivered in accordance with the terms agreed with the surveyor.
