What happens if access for the home buyers survey is denied?

On the day of the survey, if access is denied by the seller or the estate agent, then the surveyor will inform you and then look to re-book for another day.

In cases where access is denied, the surveyor will mostly likely charge a fee for this and the seller/estate agent should cover this cost as the refusal of access was not the buyer's fault.
