Remove unfair defaults on your file

Defaults can sometimes occur on your credit file because a company has reported a debt you still owe (which you may have disputed).

You must contact the company and ask for it to be removed, making it clear that you will contact the Financial Ombudsman if it isn't.

Interest-only Mortgage

These types of mortgages, now only open to non-residential customers in the UK, require a mortgagor to repay monthly only the interest on the mortgage loan. The capital has to paid in full at the end of the mortgage term.

Residential mortgagors can only take out repayment mortgages, which differ from interest-only mortgages in that each month, you have to pay not only a portion of the interest owed but a portion of the capital borrowed.
